Balance, control, and stability are the goals of our Pilates exercise training. The keys to proper physical alignment and movement efficiency are pelvic stabilization and abdominal control. The focus of Pilates classes taught at the Energy Within is neutral pelvic alignment and stability which create a supple stable base for the spine to sit upon. From this foundation we increase core stability and peripheral mobility.
Pilates equipment enables three-dimensional, non-impact resistance, making the exercises versatile, safe and effective for all ages and fitness levels. Resistance is provided by springs, pulleys and precise movement, promoting both muscle tone and bone strength.
